Cool The New 13 Week Star Program

So what does everyone think of the new 13 week star program that was just released?

Frankly, I think it's a good thing to see the objectives increase a little more as hopefully it will motivate the new consultant to put in a good effort in working her/his business and reaping the rewards.

I agree! I think it will also make managers and above more conscious (sp?) about training and the importance of the party!!

I was told by some upper mgmt folks that a lot of changes are coming within the next 6 months.

Several years ago...TW was interested in developing Ecommerce and things like that...now TW is going back to the original party focus...so from what I was told and from what was leaked to me is that we will continue to see many changes during the next few months to focus everyone back to the party building side of the business.

Oh ya, the TupperConnect Function coming. It is a great addition to our tools.

I think its great that they are allowing current reps and managers to enter the new star program. They shows they are a generous company. That speaks very loudly for Tupperware to me

Yeah I think it's a great thing too Chris and TW always seems to be on the cutting edge. I am glad to see this finally happening as it will make it much easier on consultants.

Unhappy

I'm excited about the TupperConnect party, but disappointed about the new STAR program.

I just joined as a consultant in June, thus I am disqualified from participating in the new STAR program. Everyone in Tupperware who started before February can participate, yet I am stuck in the old STAR program, which entitles me to $10 off my next order if I put in so much in sales each week. The new program offers WAY more incentives so I am very disappointed that I don't get to participate.

I just noticed that they have a STAR program starting August 29 for consultants who started between February 7 - May 8, 2009, which still disqualifies me for starting in June!

I guess I can hope that eventually they'll expand that to include everyone. Right now, everyone can participate except people who joined May 8 - August 8. I wish they would just cancel the old STAR program and let everyone join the new program!
