Default trouble with the skills test

I have been trying to complete a skills test for AppenScribe but when I complete number 20 on the test, it will not allow me to click on the save button. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks so much.

Write to them and let them know the problem you are having. You can reach them through the contact button.

I had the same problem, but when I hit next or complete, it was there. The same thing happens to me with the batches of work, number 20 never shows that it posted but it did. HTH

I have definitely experienced a similar problem, and I soon discovered that it had something to do with the browser I was using.

Some sites only function well with, as an example, Firefox browser. If you use IE (Internet Explorer) when interacting with these websites, sometimes the links and buttons will not work correctly.

Try a different browser. It just might be the culprit. Good luck!

I don't think it has anything to do with the browser. I just took the skills test and the save button doesn't work on the 20th question since it's the last one. Just hit complete and it will finish the test for you and give you your score. HTH

Does anyone get work very often?

That is correct. When you finish the 20 one, you just hit complete.

Once you are allocated to a project, you can work as much as you want.

Default ?'s

Hi, I just started yesterday with AppenScribe and have a couple of questions.

1. When you are assigned a job but the batches keep coming in and you need to stop for awhile, do you lose everything that you just typed or will it be there when you log on again?

2. If there is work available, do you have to accept it? Just wondering because I did 5 batches of 20 utterances and there was still more coming through. I wasn't sure if I had to stay logged on until the whole thing was done, or if I could stop and come back later to finish it. I just don't want to lose any batches or money earned because I had to log out before all the work was completed.

Any advice would be helpful...thank you in advance!

Spud1970: you are paid by the completed batch. You can take a break during a batch, but it you are gone too long, it will log you out and the completed utterances in that batch will be forfeited. However the time limit is more than an hour, so you should be fine.

You can stop and log out after any completed batch. You don't need to keep accepting batches. That is work waiting to be done by anyone.

Also just an FYI, you are shooting for 85% accuracy and if you do enough wrong, you will get a message from them letting you know you have to redo some over. So don't fly through them. Make sure you take your time and do them right. You can also do a training batch for that project anytime you need a refresher.
