Are you brand new to transcribing also?
So it's going well with Casting Words? How long is it taking you to transcribe?

I'm new to transcription but I love typing and am quite fast. I am getting used to different audio sounds but it is still taking me quite awhile to transcribe because I am trying to make it perfect. I am just going to keep at it until it comes more naturally. I do still find it addictive and I keep checking for HITs. I need to make some serious money soon though so if anyone has any suggestions... would love to hear them

It all depends on the person you're doing the work for. It can take a few hours to a few weeks.

In my experience I am paid within a couple of days. If a payment hasn't come in and you're concerned just email them and they will either pay you or explain their payment process. They want us to be happy because we are working for such low wages. It is fantastic for experience and to boost your confidence but other than that I would definitely look elsewhere if you want to make some serious money. It is handy to have some Amazon "spending money" but this site will not pay your bills.

I signed up too to Amazon Turk. My bank account today had $1 taken from it. I emailed them and asked them why. I clicked on a couple of hits to get familiar with the site. Does anyone know why they are deleting money from my account? Have you had this happen before?

It should be credited back soon. They do that to verify your account.
