Hey guys Im so happy to have found this, Im kinda of nervous because I was a nursing major and couldnt get pass Anatomy and physiology II but wanted to be in the medical field. Im debating on whether or not to enroll for the Mar 3 classes, so afraid of failing and spending money for it this time around. although you cant beat that price. How is everyone doing so far?

You will do fine. Don't think that way. I'm sure you are a smart person. YOU CAN DO IT!

Well, I haven't gotten to the anatomy section yet; I'm still in Medical Word Building. So far it's not too bad... I'm sure you can do it. After all you're a woman - so you know you can do it!! At $175 per section (there are two sections), it's worth trying it out and seeing what you think. Go for it!

I'm about 20% into Anatomy. There is a LOT of material, especially if you have the companion text and just start flipping through!! At the beginning of the module, they stress many times that you shouldn't be overwhelmed by the amount of material...you are NOT expected to memorize everything, you are NOT in medical school...you just need to be familiar with the terms to shorten your research time when transcribing. I actually find it a very interesting module. You can do it!!

I have registered for the Feb 3rd batch too. If some of you have started a mailing list, I'll be happy to join too. I have a 18 month old at home and am really nervous if I can study 4 hrs a day. I think I'll have to work hard. I'm excited and looking forward to it.
Do any of you know someone who got a job as a fresher after completing this course?

I start on the 3rd of Feb also. So I would love to exchange info with you all and just try to make it through this together. I have thought about doing this for months and months and finally just decided what the heck!! I have 2 kids and want to have a flexible schedule and of course like most of us today we all could use 2 incomes. Well good luck to everyone and anyone who has completed the course if you wouldn't mind keeping us up to date on your progress and job search.

Hi, I started in the December class. Currently, I'm in the Physiology module. I think the toughest one for me so far has been English and Grammer. I think I'm a little behind according to the planner (I love that thing, it helps keep you on track) But, other than that everything else seems to be going smoothly for me.

I started on January 13th and just completed the medical word building last night and started on the grammar and punctuation. The study planner is great, but I just keep looking ahead at that 130 hours of transcribing clinic notes... I don't want to get too far behind with that looming ahead. I'm behind a few days also, and will be trying to catch up.
