Has anyone actually completed this program and obtained a job? Either in house or telecommute?

Just went to their website and this is what it says... :-\ PLEASE NOTE: Prices for FTCC Med Online courses will increase after August 15th, 2009. The increase in price is due to legislation passed by the North Carolina state legislature. All courses that begin after August 15th, 2009 will cost $175.00.

Obviously still cheaper than what some others were saying ($2k), but still!! That's a $110 increase!!! :-\ Bummer!!

Has anyone had any experience with getting a job after doing this? I don't know if I should bother learning medical transcription, or just keep trying to find jobs doing general transcription?! It seems most of the things I'm finding are leading to NOWHERE!! Not even 'little jobs...' just to NOTHING!!

Default Job after career step course

I do have a friend who completed the course and found a work-at-home job within just a few weeks.

personally, i love it. i just started last month so i'm sure i haven't yet made to the really hard stuff. it has kept me busy though, trying to keep on top of it and not let my household take up too much of my time for the next few months. that's what i keep telling myself when i start feeling too guilty about doing it...it's only 8 months.

I've been training since Aug. I'm due to start my 2nd half of training next week. I really enjoy the training. It is very challenging and rewarding though.

Default I'm in too!

GeorgiaSusan, I guess I'll be seeing you in class! I signed up last night - a couple hours after the cutoff time, but I'm to start next Wednesday too! I'm hoping i'll be able to squeeze in at least 20 hours around my home daycare, my direct sales business (Uppercase Living) and my family.

Is it $175 for part one and then another $175 for part two? Or is the total price, for both, $175?
Thanks!
