I think with ISS you do not have to sign up for the CAT module, you can sign up for that one later if you want too--if that helps. You may be able to test out of some of them--you might look into that if you have any training or think it might be something you could do (at least talk to them about it )

If you do not go with the CAT module at first then the price is about the same as BeST I think, but the course with ISS does seem to me to be a little more indepth than BeST (at least online it does) that is why I am going with them and they were very helpful when I talked with them/emailed. I like the outlay of their course over the others.

Oh my! Sorry about all those repeat messages.

Bamakid, ISS does seem more of an in-depth course and it takes longer to complete too, which is fine with me.I want to learn as much as possible.
I've been talking it over with hubby and it looks like I'm going with ISS.

Since summer's almost here I've got to decide if I'm going to wait until my kids start school (my 4 year old starts preschool in September....bittersweet feelings here) to start the course, which will give metime alone to concentrate on my studies. And I'm usually out and about during the summer with the kids keeping them busy anyway.

Does anyone know how much time you have after you register with them to finish the course?

You have as long as you need to finish the ISS course. I just emailed them yesterday & got that response. I plan to start their training in June. I can't wait! (I also have a 4 year old. She's starting Pre-K at a private school in August). GL!!

I have just enrolled with ISS. My youngest starts Kindergarten in the fall and the oldest will be in the 3rd (in a private school). I am planning on finishing as soon as I can--at least that is my plan. It would be nice to finish in 4 months. Hope to see ya'll on the forum at ISS

bamakid--I will be signing up for the first course through ISS shortly too. I will have to pay for each course as I go. My husband is cashing in comp time as we go to pay for each course since we can't afford it all at once. Which means he has to work extra hours.
We're going to wait and see how long it takes for me to complete each section, as I don't know how we'll come up with the money for the last 2 sections in addition to the CAT software. My original goal was to finish in 4-5 months, but now I don't know. I may need to wait until tax time (next year )to finish up. I have 2 kids under the age of 4, so I won't havealot offree time to work on the course.
