It is www.gafundraising.com. I've been on the waiting list for a year and will start (hopefully) in mid-September '06.

GAF isn't currently advertising their at-home program, because there's
a waiting list a mile long. Everyone is hearing the "buzz" from contractors coming back for the fall season.

Should you apply and they accept your application, you'll be
sent instructions for testing. Depending upon your test results, they'll
then indicate their interest in you and when you might expect being
contacted. Contracts aren't sent out until they are preparing for the season you will be keying.

Getting the chance is very much dependent upon the volume of return
contractors. In general, those who have contributed last year are
asked to return the following year, with Fall being the busiest season.

If a sufficient number of contractors do not return, they then turn to
their applicant pool. Only once those are exhausted will they
advertise for more applicants. Naturally the better the test scores,
the more likely that you'll be contacted.

There are a few different fundraisers to key. When you first start
out, you will both key and verify your entries. Once you meet quality,
you won't have to verify any longer.

Good luck, but be prepared for a wait!

I just sent them an email letter of interest last night and I've already heard back from them this morning. They wanted my information to send me an application and they said that they are full for the fall of 2006 and that the applications they are receiving now will be for the fall of 2007. Just wanted to let you all know.

Great American Fundraising responded back to me saying they do not offer telecommuting opportunities. Their site is www.greatamericanfundraising.com

Great American Opportunities is the company which offers telecommuting opportunities. Their site is www.gafundraising.com.

This is why people are getting them confused. TheURLs are very similar, but they both have different company names when you look at the logos on the actual websites.

Whether or not the two companies are affiliated with one another is something I have not looked into for further information.

Google 'Great American Fundraising' and you will see how they are both top two which I believe added to the confusion.Edited by: lindabraun

What type of test is involved? Is it basically a typing test?
