Dinosmile, I faxed my paperwork on July 3rd, and was notified on Monday the 9th that I was scheduled for the exam on the 16th. I also got a follow-up email that Friday the 13th. I have heard all sorts of different waits, though, so I may have just gotten in a good week when a lot of people were on vacation and not submitting their stuff. JoAnn |

Thanks! For those of us waiting, let's keep each other posted.
By the way, how many hours did folks spend on the test? Christy

I think I spent 10-12 hours on the test. It's all a blur now <g>. I remember having to wait until the last minute, then being up until 2 in the morning, convinced I would NEVER see the end of those darn queries!
Meanwhile, I'm happy to report that the anonymous "feedback at google" e-mail address finally wrote back and confirmed that yes, I'm right, I never worked under 10 hours a week and they're very sorry and they take it all back. They said they just got confused because I was on vacation. This despite the fact that I got written approval beforehand to take a week off, and despite the fact that their e-mail said I have "consistently failed to work at least 10 hours a week" ... hardly true if all they were acting on was a one-week lapse in time sheets. But whatever. Vindication! Yay! Oh, I also have very few tasks available. I've been trying to do video reviews for almost two weeks and they're almost never available. And I also ran outta U** Ratings. SxS only for now (and I also hate them <g> ![]() |

I read through all the pages, but didnt seem to find the answer to this:
After you submit Part 2 of the test, do you have to wait until the day after it is officially due to be notified whether you passed or not? Or do you usually find out a day or two after you submit it? Thanks! |
|
|||
|
It took me a week after I turned in part 2 to get an e-mail saying I had passed.
No, the past couple of days the URL task pipeline has been low. If there aren't tasks and you don't complete your hours you shouldn't get in trouble. |

I finally got someone from WFL on the phone and they fixed my login problem right away.
</span>kying418, I heard back about passing the test the next day after the deadline for completing it. I submitted mine the day before the deadline. |

|
I also heard back the day following the deadline, but it's been a while back.

Thanks for the responses!

I turned in my part 2 the evening I got it so it took a week for me, but it was the day after the deadline.

Hello all,
I have a question.. I received an email from Google Staffing dated July 5th. Unfortunately, it went to our bulk mail folder and we just read the email today. It was sent to our yahoomail- the invitation was to create a gmail account and once completed etc.. Here's the email for your references: This account will serve as your userid when logging on to xxxxx systems. Please format your Gmail address as xxxxxxxx@gmail.com. If that format is unavailable to you, please format it in such a way that makes it easy to identify you by name. ETC..... Once your Gmail account is created, please complete and submit all appropriate paperwork to XXXXXX. You will then receive your instructions via your Gmail account regarding the exam. The XXXXXXs Exam will help us determine your fit as a Quality Rater. After its completion you will receive your results via email. Thank you again for your assistance. If you have any questions prior to your test, please contact us at xxxxx@google.com. --------- Does it mean- I passed the first stage? I feel really bad because I didn't read their email right away. Should I notify them then ask what's the next step? or this email is just simply an invitation to use their gmail service? or once the gmail account is setup-their system will automatically notify them about my newgmail account. Please help! Thanks much, shmwi24Edited by: shmwi24
