l guess I am the only loser who has sent my resume to them probably7 times over the last two months and have heard nothing back either way. I'd at least like a rejection or something.

Its frustrating that people are hearing back in a week or less and others hear nothing. Go ahead and reject me so that I can stop obsessing over this!!!

I wonder if the fact that I have a full time job and MBA disqualifies me in some way.

I have no clue how they determine who is hired. Some have degrees, some don't, some have experience, some don't, some attached the resume, some cut and pasted...

I have 4 degrees including a doctorate and haven't been hired...

Oh well moving on.

I sent in a resume the other day for the Ad Quality Rater positionand got a reply back today. The email was from someone named Marlin and cc'd to someone named Samantha. It has stuff for me to fill out (I-9, W-4, etc.).It also had info about a web seminar I have to attend, a bit about testing,as well as a ton of other info. I haven't had a chance to look through everything.

After I complete all that, then it sounds like I'd be put on a list pending project needs and interest.

As I thought . . .the email that bounced back to them yesterday had a name in the address. Last night I emailed the person one of you kind folks gave me expressing PROFOUND apologies for letting that happen.

As I suspected I heard back today and they said thanks but no thanks.

As some have stated I have a BS degree and a Master's degree. SO I don't know what they're looking for.

Have any of you been rejected once then reapplied and been accepted?

This is very disheartening. I may have been accepted but because of a stupid file now I'm rejected!!

GregK,

This summer & fall I applied for both theQuality Rater andAds Quality Rater posiitions and received a "No Thanks" for both.

RecentlyI applied again when the Quality Rater position was advertised. This time I did get a "Welcome to the next step" email. However, from what I have heard from one source, this does not guarantee a job offer even if I should pass the tests.

So I feel that it doesn't hurt to apply again.

goose, All I know and can share is what is written in the ads for these jobs at the Google site. Everyone has to sign a non-disclosure prior to testing and prior to learning any job details.

I just got an interesting email...Google ran my background check and the results were emailed yesterday. I had requested a copy be emailed to me as well, so I got it last night. I've already been rejected for the Quality Rater job, but I applied for the Ad Quality Rater job a couple weeks ago too.Do you think they ran the check for that job?
