I'm sooooo sorry. This is actually one of the things I dread. I unknowingly applied for both the Spanish and English rater positions, and I'm not sure which one they are offering me yet. My test is next week. I have a bad feeling it will be the Spanish. Had I known all these issues I wouldn't have applied for the Spanish at all. It was too late to take it back once I was in, so I just have to hope for the best.

I'm so sorry. I hope you can get into the English now.

Any foreign language, Us raters ever make it to a year? Seems like 5-6 months is quite common.

Same here....I think we should be getting an e-mail soon about the conference call.

I just wanted to thank all of the experienced raters on this thread! if it weren't for the this forum, I would have never passed.

I was also FL rater, worked 4weeks.
Last monday morning I got an email saying "your assignment with WFL will end."
Just like that.
I was wondering if I can reapply for English rater after 90days.

Again, my apologies. I don't know why they do this, but it just really stinks!

I would definitely reapply in 90 days. What's the worst that can happen, they don't answer. Good luck!

Uh oh...I got an email from them that all of the pages didn't go through on the fax. It also said this could delay my exam. It is a form letter that I'm sure they send to anyone who's paperwork doesnt all come through. I am still within the 7 day window to send the paperwork in, and just resent. Do you think it will delay my getting the exam? I got a confirmation both times that all the pages went through too! Must have jammed on their end!

Same thing happened to me...

On my second try, I scanned them in and I think ended up using a free fax program over the internet, there are several, just google "free fax."
This worked for me if you have access to a scanner. If you have questions about how to do it, just let me know

I don't have access to a scanner, but thanks for the suggestion! I guess if something happens and they dont get it I will be off to kinkos to have them scan it for me and maybe put it on a disc for me and do it that way.

Thanks again!
