What is this test you guys keep mentioning? Is it a definitive test that you
have to pass, or is it a trial period after which they decide if you are right for
the job?

It's an exam, you have to pass it to get the job. They do pay you for taking it though. I'm working on part 2 right now.

I was told today that my assignment starts 11/27!

As noted on one of the pages WAAAAAAY back in this thread, we determined that the Ads Rater did not have a test nor did it require a degree. I don't know if that means different pay, however.

Actually, I thought I read somewhere along this thread it was only $10 an hour.

Since I'm a quality rater, I know the pay is more than $10 and I find it hard to believe that ad raters have to go through all of that testing for just $10 an hour.
