It is a real job and everything, but a big waste of time - I did it for a while. First you have to work for free for a month doing these tasks that are really menial like posting about how great it is to work there, so most comments you see online are fake, posted by people trying to get hired, and they really push you to say certain stuff. You are then hired or fired. After that you are supposed to be given up to 25 hours of work, but most people get nothing, or maybe one or two hours a month! The whole thing takes a load of time and then you get paid so little it's an insult. Better off looking for part time somewhere else.

Although Lifebushido may not be for everyone, it is a great place to work. I have been with the company for over four years, and I have steadily worked 25 hours a week. The key to getting work is to be persistent, apply to teams, become involved, and show what you can do! You above all need to have drive, a positive attitude and the ability to follow directions exactly. If you are missing any of those traits, likely it will not work for you. I did not have to do one month of erroneous free work, nor do we ask anyone to post any specific things on WAH boards. We appreciate people sharing their experiences, but this is not required to work with LB.

So far so good in my opinion. They tell you the process that you will be going through. Some people can hack it, others can't. It's all in the ability to follow instructions to a T. I went through the exact same process as everyone else. I obviously followed the instructions to a T. There are those who have been with the company for many years and are extremely happy. I was just recently hired and will not let this forum bring me down. I hate that. However, it is best to hear both sides.

Thanks for the positive reviews from some of you!! I've been emailing back and forth with Steve and am going to be going through the application process. I'm glad that a lot of you are doing well and have been with the company more than a year! That makes me hopeful! --Quick question, Does anyone have any tips on updating your resume? My resume hasn't been updated in a while and I would like to have it fresh and nice before sending in my application.
Thanks in advance! Also- please continue to update on your process w/ the company! Would like to know how others are doing with it!
