Default Wondering if it's possible..

Hey everyone,

I recently got a job out of the house, as an after school teacher. I am majoring in Education in my College and figured it would be a great job for me to gain experience.. Problem is, it's only 3 1/3 hours a day so the pay isn't all that great and it's hard for me to live on.. I've been doing online jobs for years (texting, chacha, weegy, etc). I am looking to get back into it, but between the 3 1/2 hours at week and school, I can't devote a ton of hours a day..

So my question is.. Would it be possible to make at least $10 a day doing work like microworkers and mturk? I have tried textbrokers but after doing 5 articles they make you wait until they get approved to write any more, and that's getting pretty frustrating. I do check this message board faithfully every day, I just haven't come across anything that I can possibly do.. I have applied for ACD Direct but got rejected, and liveops isn't hiring in my area (NY). Any help would be appreciated! =]

Might want to take a look at online tutoring, there are a number of companies that hire at home workers for this.

You can make $10 a day with Mturk. I have heard of people making more than that even. If you do a search on them you might be able to find tips on how people are doing that. Another option for you might be a home business. I know having your own business isnt for everyone but there are so many great companies to choose from it might be worth looking into.

I also think it would be possible to make that much or more. There are lots of ways to make money online.

I haven't looked into Mturk yet, so I can't tell you info. on that yet (I do plan to try and get work through them though if I can). I recently applied with Ticket Puller. I'm still waiting to hear back from them, but from what I understand it's online work. Have you also checked out gigwalk.com? I signed on with them; however, they don't have any gigs in my area... It's a site where if you have a smart phone (which a lot of people do now) then you can do gigs for the site in your area all with your phone -again IF there are gigs in your area. Given that you're in NY I would think there would be a good chance of gigs in your area... could be worth looking into! Atleast check it out!

Please keep me updated if you find any other online work that's worth looking into! I'm always trying to find online work!! I also agree w/ the other suggetions on online tutoring!! That would be right down your alley given you're a teacher! Definitely worth checking that out!! Good luck!!
