Job Summary
The employee is required to interact with customers by telephone and must possess excellent written skills along with customer service and sales skills. Performance in this position has a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention and revenue.

Associate is responsible for all expenses related to internet, computer, telephone and headset as well as Metro line, or upgrading Internet speed and furniture.
Neiman Marcus will provide a secure key FOB to access the network.
Neiman Marcus Direct handles the catalogue and online portion of Neiman Marcus Group sales. The customer care associate answers inbound calls and provides legendary customer service to our customers. This position requires the successful candidate to be available to be scheduled any day Sunday through Saturday. Various schedules are available. Employees are provided their schedule two weeks in advance and will have two days off per week.

This position is based in our Irving, TX call center. Training for this position consists of three weeks of onsite classes. Two weeks will be spent in a training classroom (Monday � Friday, 9:00am � 5:30 pm) and one week will be spent in on the job training. During the week of on the job training scheduled training hours will vary. One hundred percent on time attendance is required, and it is mandatory that all classes are attended.


The Customer Care position starts at $11.00 per hour and additional incentives are offered. We require successful completion of an online simulation assessment; a comprehensive background check including criminal and credit; and drug test.

Job Duties
Assess main purpose of customer communication and respond accordingly. Calls range from taking orders for diversified product lines, providing detailed product knowledge to customers on items of interest to customer service inquiries about late shipments or out of stock items
Negotiate and identify necessary steps to resolve problems
Through the use of relationship selling skills, positions company products and services with customers to meet department and individual goals.
Manage detailed product and job knowledge including home d�cor trends, product features and benefits, company procedures, varied computer applications including CMOS (Common Mail Order System) as well as a sound working knowledge of other departments that interface with the call center. The employee develops an understanding of competitive changes facing the retail sector and its customers.
Manages notemail system to ensure timely follow up to customer�s requests

Job Requirements
Minimum 4 weeks Phone experience
PC competency in a Windows application
Ability to easily maneuver through the Internet required.
Excellent written communication skills.
