World Class Global Tech Company seeks Technical Infrastructure Project Manager to join the IT Global Infrastructure group to play a key role supporting all Global Infrastructure Projects and ensure on-time delivery. In this role the successful candidate will drive and track the delivery of multiple projects in differing stages of completion across the global enterprise. These projects are very technical in nature from an engineering standpoint and require some high level knowledge of IT data and voice networks as well as systems infrastructure such as server and storage platforms.

The successful candidate will telecommute from their home. Light travel may be required to company headquarters on the east coast.


Requirements:
Proven understanding or Project Management and Governance

Expert in Microsoft Project technologies

Strong understanding of the ITIL framework

High Level understanding of networking technologies (i.e. Concepts such as the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing, switching concepts, VLAN’s, load balancing, understanding of different types of circuit technologies (PRI, SIP, Frame-Relay, etc…)

High Level understanding of Systems Integration (i.e. Microsoft, Citrix, UNIX, Linux, SQL, Exchange etc….)

A driven personality that can help manage high-level engineers to meeting task deadlines
