Thank you everyone for your responses!

It is just so frustrating because I know I would be excellent at the job. I have applied a few different times over the course of the past year, so it must be something with my resume or my experience (I did work for an online media company previously so maybe they feel that is a conflict of interest some how). I am just getting to the point where I am desperate to find something and phone work would just be difficult with my two young boys.

Something has to happen soon! Trying to remain positive!

I personally applied with one of the companies you mentioned back in 2010 and it took over a month from the time I applied until I heard back with a response. I then went through a few pre training processes and then a month later started actual training.

It's not a quick process, so don't get too worried yet

On another note, you list off your experience as CSR/Sales and Online Media, how much of that was in a virtual/work from home/remote environment? If none of that was in a non brick and mortar environment it might not be as much help as you'd like it to be.

If it is all B&M, play up some "self employed" type qualities - do you run a blog/site that you regularly update, do any contract projects on the side... Showing the ability to self manage/motivate from a virtual/home based point of view will probably help!
