Call Handlers are responsible for answering inbound calls, taking short messages, confirming information with callers, and processing calls according to instructional guidelines.

Responsibilities:
Greeting callers politely and per account protocols
Searching and properly confirming a directory
Promptly and correctly processing calls per account protocols
Taking a short message or status information from the caller
Properly confirming message or status information with the caller
Closing the call properly and politely
Paging or calling the message when required, and as instructed, by account protocols
Transferring the account to dispatch when required, and as instructed, by account protocols
Transferring callers to dispatch staff when required, and as instructed, by protocols or policy

Skills, Education, & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must have customer service experience
Ability to contribute positively to a team environment
Must have excellent spelling skills
Must have ability to follow written and verbal instruction
Must be able to type proficiently (30 wpm)
Must have computer knowledge and experience
Must be detailed oriented
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
