i did have to pay the background check which was 13$....and i did have to pay for the ACP 101 test....i paid 19.99....ITS NORMALLY 100$!!....but from time to time they run a sale.
i also had to pay for the client training course....i paid 19$.....it was actually 49$ but they were giving you a 30$ credit voucher......
so how much you have to put out really depends on numerous things....first will you have to go and buy a computer? do you have high speed internet? a telephone with very basic service (i.e. no features on the phone)? a headset?
assuming the above meets the arise requirements then you take the following into consideration.......the background check and ACP 101 test and if you sign under someone or bring your own llc and the client you will work (AT&T, Intuit, Staples, Barnes & Nobles, Walgreens, Royal Caribbean, Carnival Cruise, Apple, Disney Cruise, Time,etc....THERE ARE SO MANY TO LIST)
for me----13$ + 20$ + 20$ = $53 (that's how much it cost me to get started)
i think i will try another client, but i want a client that i can do strictly mon-fri no weekends or something better like a chat/email agent only they are hard to find....

AT&* Key Contacts is a great client with plenty of hours, great pay, and NO weekend requirement. I would take a look at that, available now in the Portal.
