Hi,
I'm trying to figure out which work at home customer service jobs do not require landline phones. Which companies allow the use of VoIP, Skype, Google, and so forth? Does anyone know and care to share? Thank you very much =)! |

Most do because of PPA compliance. They do so to ensure the security of their callers/clients information to be a safe as possible when handling sensitive information such as CC number.

If you get a work at home position that requires a landline, it might be worth investing in one.
If you use the landline 100% for job purposes, and you're paid as a contractor, you can write off that landline cost as a valid business expense. Having a landline would also open up a lot of potential job possibilities. |

There are jobs on here that don't require landline phones. I have had some thru the years. I am not sure if the company is still around ..but Advance Lead Exchange is one of them. They use the five-nine dialer system. There are other companies that use this as well. Also, I have applied for a fwe jobs that have you use skype. You just have to do a little searching to find these companies.

Customer service jobs means helping to the customer, it can be possible by many ways and that is not compulsory to having land line for the customer service. Customer service can be possible through mailing and also by telephones.

Sina,
ChaCha and KGB don't require a landline phone. G5LIVE doesn't either, if you choose to apply to be a chat operator. Talk2Rep may have some chat operator positions. Paid Forum Posting doesn't either, though I would not consider them customer service. You post in client forums. |

I'd still recommend investing in a landline if need be. Just apply for as many things as you can. If you're offered a position that requires a landline, you can decide then if you want to get one.

Thank you all for sharing with me what you know and giving me new wah job ideas to research. I have applied to some companies listed here on this thread as well as other types of wah opportunities suggested here, too.
