Default New To WAHM, Need help working the site, and job hunt.

Hi everyone, I am new to this all, new to the WAHM network. I am here looking for a new job telecommuniting. My current job although I am grateful the opportunity for growth is going nowhere. If anyone can send me some links to Data entry jobs, email processing jobs, I will be oh so grateful.

welcome, the best thing I can recommend is read through the threads, and apply to all those that seem like a good fit. If you have a specific question on a particular job, ask away. Someone here will be happy to help. Best of luck 2 u on your search

I really don't understand posts like this. It gives the impression that the poster is lazy and wants to be spoon fed which I am sure is NOT true. This whole folder is full of job leads and links. Read through them. Read the WAH company list. Read the "New Members Start Here" sticky in this folder. All the info you need is here. It's a virtual treasure trove! Good luck.

Even though the message is seasoned with tough love. The posters have given some great links. Click on links and read through the site. Working from home is just like working a job outside of the home you have to do your homework and apply apply apply.

Yep, just start reading and reading everything you can find in here. If you decide on a specific type of job like virtual call center, etc then you can check the folders on the main page. Many of the more popular call center companies have folders there. Also many of the girls that post in here have great blogs with info in them on working from home. Feel free to check mine out as well, it is in my signature. Good luck.

The best way to find a work at home job, goes beyond searching through the boards and the internet for legit leads. Networking with others is also a great way to land something that pays well. Freelance sites like Guru, Get A Freelancer, Odesk, and several others are a great way to build your telecommuting resume. Plus if, the job poster really likes your work, that is one more person in your personal Network. They may know others, that need a telecommuter to get a short or long term project completed. That network may help you find the work at home job of your dreams... I hope this helps a little bit. Welcome to WAHM.

Default Thanks Everyone

Oh Wow BerryWriter, i have never been called LAZY in my entire life. Even thou i see you ment it in a loving way. If you go back I read the title of my post it said i needed help with navigating the site. I was reading the forums and threads, but i still cannot find out were these folders everyone is talking about to look in. So i figured if I made a post an ask for some leads maybe i can start there while i figure out the site and how to navigate it. I have already served in the U.S Navy left my friends and family behind to fight not just for my freedom but yours as well. So being lazy is just not my style. And now that i have kids I got out while my husband is still there fighting. So i would be careful how you label somone just by a friendly post asking for help. I already work as a remote agent for a company, but the advancement opportunity is very few. So I am weighing my options, i am not here to offend anyone but to stay independent and strong by keeping a job while my spouse is away. What i don't understand is how we can say we are one nation under god and all this unity but the first moment we get to embrasse or stomp someone down we are first in line. Some advise dont be a crab in a barrel aways pulling the next one down but stand by and lend your back so some one else can get over the wall. Now I have said my piece how about some help finding these folders.
