So basically, you have to work for free first. Wow! Plus payouts are "subject to discetion of the advertisers". A nice way of saying, I don't have to pay you if I don't want to.

I did this and wasted quite a bit of time. It looked very detailed and legit. However, they never returned my calls or emails, and digging in a little more I found this:

Market Research From Home scam

This is not LTMD, but, it is the phone number that was given as my contact.
Stay away!

Wow thanks for letting us know that it was too good to be true. I almost fell for it. I was halfway through the first assignment when I decided to stop after they didn't answer my questions. Now my phone is always ringing with telemarketers calling.

The pay seems really high. Smells of scam to me. Can't wait to see what you find out, SmartChic.

Default Ltmd

I did sign up for this. I received a spread sheet with over 50 "offers" that I had to complete in order to get paid the 25.00 most were free but the last two required a credit card and had a note to cancel on the 28th day. I didn't do it I asked to be taken off their mailing list. The last thing I need is Telemarketers calling me all hours day and night. Also a lot of these free adds or not free. You MUST read the fine print. Example the 2.00 teeth whitening. If you read the fine print it states that the credit card you use to pay the 2.00 will be charged 184.00 dollars ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY FOUR DOLLARS. The next day unless you call with in the next 24 hours to cancel. It is perfectly legal because they put it in the terms that your suppose to read. I almost got had on some green tea I ordered for 2.00 bucks. It was cheap stuff you can buy at any Wal-mart for 2 bucks. Thank God I remembered to call and cancel before I got another shipment because they were going to begin billing me 80.00 a month for future shipments. These type of offers often show up in the "free 500 or 50 or 100 dollar gift card ads." as well . These are usually scams as well. You have to complete page after page after page of offers such as the scams above. Then if you read the fine print all of the offers have to be verified and there is a 68 week not 6 to 8 but 68 week waiting period before you get your card at their discretion. Sorry this is so long. Just really wanted to let you guys know to be very careful when filling out these surveys and product offers. I know their are some very legitimate ones out their . Their are also LOTS of scams so please read everything very carefully !

Angry LTMD Research

I applied for the position with LTMD Research and I was so excited to have a job working at home. I completed my work in 1 day and submitted my payment form back to them. I called them several time and no response. I became very concern about the situation. After several emails and telephone calls I began to pray. On Thursday I received a check in the mail and it looked strange. On the large envelope the label was turned long ways and had only a USPS Express Mail Label with another person name in the return area and my name to sender. I almost put it in the trash. I open the letter and it was a check for $3300.00. I was so surprise!! I wondered if it was real. So, I went to the bank and asked for the manager. The check was a good check the manager said; however, he could not cash it for me. The manager would not release any information about the check except it was a good check and that he could not cash it for me. I am so disappointed because I really worked almost all day for nothing. Please these people are crooks!! I sent an email to them and no response back. I notified Federal Trade Commission and Internet Crime Complaint Center. I pray that they will be caught and put in jail.

RE: FTC Ref. No.

Consumer Response Center:

Thank you for recent correspondence. The Federal Trade Commission acts in the public interest to stop business practices that violate the laws it enforces. Letters from consumers and businesses are very important to the work of the Commission. They are often the first indication of a problem in the marketplace and may provide the initial evidence to begin an investigation. The Commission does not resolve individual complaints. The Commission can, however, act when it sees a pattern of possible violations developing.

The information you have provided will be recorded in our complaint retention system. This computerized system enables us to identify questionable business practices that are generating numerous complaints and may be in violation of the law.

Thank you for providing information that may be used to develop or support Commission enforcement initiatives.

Sincerely Yours,

Consumer Response Center

Think about this if you spent countless amount of time working for someone that you considered a real job I sure that you would want payment for services rendered. So, these people need to be stopped.

WOW, after doing 5 reviews I just started feeling a little uncomfortable. I figured before I finshed all 12 reviews I would just do part and see if it is legit. I sent them in today. But reading all these complaints I am sure I will get NOTHING.. This really pisses me off

Default I Signed Up with LTMD Research

and completed the first "campaign" two weeks ago now. There are 12 campaigns or web sites that I had to visit and fill out the information as if I am an interested party. So I had to give a mixture of true and false information. Then I waited for the phone calls to start and they did. The sites were mainly educational and insurance sites. The 2 insurance sites alone generated 16 "quotes". I had to take the calls, allow them to talk abit, ask a few specific questions and then politely disconnect without committing to anything. To me it felt deceptive but I could buy into the secret shopper concept so I went ahead. Still getting follow up calls where I am now explaining that I was a secret shopper evaluating their customer service. Some were upset, some curious. I have not been paid yet, but saw the post about the 15 day wait. I have called LTMD twice always got an answering machine with a promise of a return call w/in 24 hours. Have not received those calls. I wll post again in a couple of weeks to advise if I ever received payment. I have the forms if anyone want's to see them. They are PDF format.
