Congrats to those who have been added. I just wrote my article tonight and will send it first thing in the morning. I hope this gig pays at least in the $400 range...here's hoping

I think it would be entirely possible for you to make 400 per month with article writing and other tasks.
Congrats to those who got hired!
You'll enjoy this job, they are good people to work for.

Hi to all potential applicants

We have received several emails from people concerned about doing an unpaid trial article or blog comment as part of their application.

The trial pieces are used by the business ONLY so that we can measure your ability to write on certain topics that are frequently requested by our clients, ensure that you can meet a deadline, and also to assess your writing skill level.

You retain ALL rights to the unpaid work and we will never use these for anything other than assessing your skills. We do not provide your work to clients, publish the work or place it anywhere on the internet.

If you so wish you are welcome to publish the trial article on any site under your own name.

We are not looking to scam writers in any way - I have been in situations myself where 'unpaid trials' really meant 'working for free'. We are merely protecting the business from having to pay for work that is low quality, and also from people that promise to get something done on time but instead of delivering just come up with one excuse after another.

On a more personal note. WAHM.com helped me significantly when I first began working online. Although I am now managing online businesses, I started out as an online freelancer writing and programming on weekends. The information on this site was brilliant in showing me how to go about getting online work, and also provided very solid advice on things to watch out for.

It is important to me as the Manager of Burn Your To Do List that our providers are treated fairly and I am very happy to give others the chance to earn an online income.

Providers that work for us, prove to be reliable and have a strong commitment to deadlines are offered other opportunities for special projects, promotions within the business, bonuses, etc.

Regarding payment rates. It was my fault that the person emailing you back could not tell you that - I had forgotten to give her the pay tables She now has that information available.

Since payments are per job, the amount that you can earn per hour varies greatly depending on how quickly you are able to work at that task. I also tend to find that people speed up as they get more practice

In regard to article writing. For basic articles in higher volume it can be a smart investment to grab yourself some voice recognition software and use a wireless headset if you plan to do this kind of work long term. This allows you to do more mundane tasks while you are writing, and you just need to go through and proofread it after (which you would have to do anyway). It's a good way to get your ironing done while writing at the same time

Warmest regards

Jamie

After corresponding with them, I did decide to go ahead and apply.

I was accepted, and I am also looking forward to the next step in the process.

I have found them so far to be very helpful and professional, so I would suggest if you are contemplating applying to go ahead and give it a shot.

I will keep everyone updated as well.

Julie~

Does anybody know if you have to write articles? I am wondering what the positions are for the facebook and social networking sites that they stated. Would those also require me to give a writing sample? Thanks
