Default Going through the Admission Process w/Arise

Hi I am going through the admission process with Arise, and am now ready to begin the ACP101 - it's $99 though. Are there any discounts or ways around this

I'm also hoping to connect with some of you who have been doing this a while and are hopefully making a profit. I don't mind paying for training, etc. if this will turn into a profitable business.

I'd love to hear any tips or tricks you may have. I'm cautiously optimistic about this opportunity and am looking for any personal experiences you may have!

Thanks

There are discounts but certainly no way around it. Way back when, I applied for them not knowing that they charged. I never went through with it and a few months after getting to the place to pay for the course, they start sending me little discounts.. some was as low as $50. Even a rep called me one time and encouraged me to apply.. but I never went through with it because honestly the charges don't stop there. You will have to get a business entity. Business license, incorporation, the works... so you must be prepared (financially) to set this up or you would have paid that money for nothing. They do not pay individuals.... so your check can not say.. Jane Doe, but rather ABC Company. It's a lot to this but I did hear that people make great money.

I was lucky enough to get the ACP101 for free because I have a mac. I haven't made it much further in the process my incorporation was messed up and I never finished it. I do know that some people are making good money working through arise. I personally decided I didn't want to go through the business bank account mess and straightening out the incorporation issues that I had. There are training fees for everything that you decide to do through them. But for some people it seems to work out. Hopefully someone that is currently working through them will respond and maybe be able to give you more insight on how profitable it is.

It would definitely be nice to hear from an existing Arise IC. I have also gotten to the $99 point, and I am also not too thrilled about paying for training and not being very certain about the profitability.

Why did you get it free because you have mac? I also have a mac and would like to know. Thank you!

I worked for Arise a few years back and at that time ACP was free (it was right before the holidays and they needed agents). Some people really like it and that's okay with me. I just don't like phone work that much and I had personal issues with supposedly being a business owner but them telling me when I had to work (I.e. 5 weekend hours, another client was 10 hours in the evening, etc.)

As someone else said, ACP won't be your last cost. Next will be incorporation, then the training for a client fee (last time I was getting emails it was anywhere from $100 - $200), they charge you monthly fees for paying you....
