Wow, I did not know you could not mention the company's name. I just wrote a detailed description of a company I worked for. What is the big deal? I also mentioned another web site that has a spread sheet on all the jobs and I mentioned that. I don't get it -- aren't we all trying to help one another. When some puts W@st (I can ony guess) or LO -- what is that? I figure most people can type here so tell me the name of the company. Stop with the abbreviations. I guessed at some of the companies you put down and I guess CloudCR, gee, could their main headquarters be located in Colorado -- as I worked for Cloud (I am guessing you are referring to them). Yes, they started me at $8.00 and went to $9.00 hour and then I quit after 5 months because my old company called me to work at $12 but about 6 months later or thereabouts, I was laid off. Trying to get a job now is very hard. Quite frankly, it has been a total waste of my time but I send off emails to companies but no one even calls me anymore. Last May 2009 and June 2009 was the last time any companies called me about CSR or clerical jobs. Can't even get a temp agency to get me a job. But got to comply with state unemployment laws,-- in order to get check, must look for work. I have never seen in my lifetime, which is over 30 years, never have I been unable to get a job.

I just posted on the other thread you are speaking about...I'm the one who started that post, and I'll post my response here as well...

I put abbreviations because I've seen a lot of members do that in their postings, not sure if we have to or are allowed to put the whole name of companies, so just thought I'd play it safe, thanks again!

Thank you for the info you posted on the other thread, and yes, we are all here to help each other, I completely agree.

I think the best idea is to check the forum rules. I think it outlines any companies that aren't allowed to be discussed. I think some people also use abbreviations if they're saying not-so-nice things about a company.

Edit:
I just checked the rules, and there was no listing of companies which cannot be discussed. I'm not sure if it's written anywhere, but I know C--C-- can't be discussed. If there is a list, does anyone know where it is?
