Some hits take a really long time to go through... I never did a lot with Mturk but I remember a few that took like a week to process through.

I'm working fot mturk as well. Some of them move really slow to pay and others pay really fast. I have actually been working on a hit and seeing the amount I made go up, some do pay you as you do them. I have made $80.00 so far. I have did 1,300 hits and only 52 of them have been rejected, that's not to bad. I hope this helps you. Ann

I've done work on Mturk as well, and usually the hits would process quickly, but there was one time I did about 40 hits for one of the jobs (and they were each lengthy hits to work on at $0.25 each), and it took almost 4 weeks for them to get approved and payment processed.

I've found that it usually takes about a day up to four weeks (with the rare automatic) to get paid. Some requesters never pay, so be careful. They'll sometimes even reject the hit, even though it was done correctly to avoid paying.

I always check the requester rating on TurkOpticon, before accepting a hit from a requester I haven't done a hit for before to avoid the scammers and all around jerks.

Do you have to reach a certain limit before you get paid or do they pay daily? Also, if someone could pm me some good/legit requesters, I would appreciate it. I have looked though the hits and some seem pretty time consuming. Seems easy, though. Thanks!

The minimum you can transfer from your Amazon payment account to your bank is $10 you can do it as often as you like there are no fees

Andy Ketter
Delores Labs
are both very good requesters

And if you want to use it towards an Amazon purchase, there's no minimum.

The biggest downside to DLabs is the amount of tasks they put into a single hit for very low pay. Some of their hits are better than others for sure...

The way I look for hits is first to find something interesting then look at amount of time it'll take to do one versus the amount per hit and if that works out to a lower hourly rate than the other project, I pass. Then I check the requester reviews.

I don't have any particular favorite requester in mind as I tend to remember the content of hit more and look for similar ones.

Stay away from anyone that asks you to fill out a form for 'testing' (usually an affiliate scam) or take an IQ test (the mobile subscription scam) as these almost never pay and require personal info.

You have gotten good tips so far. And the turk site mentioned is a good one. read the reviews on requesters to get a feel for them. I find the best thing is to find something (hit) that you can do and do quickly. The more hits you do the better, it all adds up.
