Question usertesting.com ??

Hi,

I signed up and completed my test for usertesting.com yesterday. I'm a little bit nervous that I did not do as well as I had hoped. It was simple, but I guess because I knew I was being taped, I felt like I was a little bit repetitive and almost didn't know what to say. Anybody else have the same experience?

I think that if I get chosen to work for them, I would do a better time the next time I reviewed a site. I think that since it was the first site, I was a bit nervous.

Anyway, just wondering if anybody else felt that way too. If anybody is working for them now, could you let me know how long it took for you to receive your first site to test?

Thanks,
Melissa

Is that the one that records your screen and voice? Their demo video is a guy planning a trip to waikiki?

I signed up with them but never did the demo because I was nervous lol, I really should just bite the bullet.

I don't think being repetitive would be an issue, I think the more thorough and the more feedback you give the better, but I could be wrong.

I did the demo dut never got e-mailed to test a website. They say that if you don't get called back within 10 days for a test you're probably not what they're looking for.

I agree. This is a very nice little egg to add to your basket. I have worked for them about 2 months and love it!! Very easy money and they pay via PayPal weekly. I have a medium-high rating and get at least 3-4 jobs a week. It just depends on your demographics and how many jobs are available. The more people find out about this egg, the less jobs available. But I believe in sharing the info because we all need help with WAH jobs every now and then.

Best of luck to you and don't be afraid to get your test review completed and under your belt. Just be sure to speak clearly and answer all questions. I write mine down before I start just to make sure I cover everything.
