Smile We Need Good, Reliable People!

Hello Everyone!

I see lots of people looking for legitimate work at home. My company has 4 slots open for part-time (to start) work. If you are interested, here is the job subscription:

Project Description

We are a web development company and we produce over 500 websites per month. We are looking for a reliable virtual assistant who can perform the following tasks:

1) Configure a WordPress blog using our step-by-step instructions, we take care of the actual installation and file uploads. We've created step-by-step videos of the process so you can see it on screen.

2) Add posts with the content we give you from our writers.

3) Lightly edit posts and submit to article directories. This won't be extensive, 2 or 3 of the biggest directories only.

4) Find related blogs/websites and post helpful, non-spammy posts with links back to our sites.

You must be proficient with the computer and very organized. We are looking for long-term partners we can trust. If you make the cut, there will be plenty of work for you.

Additional Info:

You must have a virus free computer protected by Kaspersky Internet Protection Suite or the Norton Equivalent. You must have Microsoft Office or the free alternative StarOffice. Make sure that macros are disabled in both suites if you have them. You must also have an IM id on gmail for us to contact.

US Based ONLY! Serious inquiries, please PM me with availability, skill level and desired hourly wage.

PS - I read the FAQ and it looked like this was the place to post.

Thank you for posting this opportunity for our members, and you are correct in reading the FAQ's that it is definitely ok to post this here.

What do you mean? The only request is an antivirus program (Kaspersky has a 30 free trial and we can tell you where to order cheap activation keys after that) and StarOffice, the MSOffice equivalent is FREE . I think those two requirements are really low IMO.

Yes, if you are interested, please don't reply in this thread. Send me a PM and I'll get back to you. Here's an update:

1) I've had around 25 people apply so far. The going hourly rate averages between $7-$10. This is just for reference so that if you normally get $50/hour, then this probably is not the assignment for you.

2) There seems to be so many people to choose from. I have 4-6 spots available. I want to be fair and allow everyone an opportunity to work with us so here goes!

Whoever wants to apply for this position, here's how we will decide. The spots will go to the best workers and this is how we'll determine the outcome. We will give you a random phrase to write a 450 word article. We will then ask you to post it on a test blog which you will configure and post. These are tests to see how well you write and if you can follow directions well and how quickly, not us fishing for free work. Then we'll create an imaginary blog for you to post a comment and link to see if you do OK.

I think this is fair. It would be just too much to hire 25 or 30 people just to see if they can do it, don't you think?

If you are interested, and you think this is reasonable, send over the PMs. Thanks everybody, I hope to hear from you.
