Hi Lynn35,
It took a few weeks before I heard back from Sutherland, however, when I did get a response things moved along pretty quickly from there (interview, on boarding paperwork, etc.). I am currently scheduled to begin training next week. As for Cloud 10, I applied with them near the end of October. I had my first (pre-qualification) interview with them around the second week of November. I believe it would have been sooner, however, my PC didn't have enough memory to meet their hardware requirements, and so I had to upgrade my memory and re-run the PC Pitstop scan. When I did that, my pre-qualification interview was scheduled just a few days later. The pre-qualification interview was very basic. The interviewer went over their basic requirements to work for Cloud 10, she asked about my past experience, including at home call center work, and then she had me demonstrate that I new how use my internet browser. I had to open three windows and go to the websites that she gave me. I then had to read or describe to her with information that appeared on each page. Once that was done, she concluded the interview and let me know that I passed the pre-qualification and that I was going to a "pending" status which made me available for projects. Next, I began receiving emails containing information on projects that were available, training pay rate, hourly "working" rate, and the schedule that is pretty much set in stone. When a project came through that worked for me, I scheduled another interview with Cloud 10 using the link that was in the project description. That interview was a little more in depth, all of the policies were explained again, the Non-Compete was VERY emphasized, and their schedule adherence and training requirements were explained. This interviewer also asked some technical questions because the project I applied for was for a satellite television provider doing level 1 technical support. The interview lasted just under 30 minutes. I was really hoping to get more insight from other members on wahm.com about both companies, however, I haven't and I ended up basing my final decision on other, older posts about the companies. I decided to go with Sutherland for a few reasons. First, they offer more flexibility. Scheduling is done by "shift bidding", so ultimately I will be able to pick the days/times that work better for me during the times that I told them I am available for work. The work schedules with Cloud 10 are NOT subject to change. The entire point of me working from home is to have some flexibility and to better balance my family life while earning a pay check. Second, I found less negative information about Sutherland. It seems that earlier this year there were issues with Cloud 10 "sending people home" early due to low call volume and other issues with people being terminated from projects with no notice and then having to fight for their pay. These are both work from home positions that I am NOT going to get rich off of, and I don't need headaches or stresses from either. I guess I chose the lesser of two evils, so to speak ;-) I hope I was able to answer your questions. Feel free to PM me if you think of anything else. Good luck!! |

Soncele,
I'm not sure. I took a quick look at their website, and I didn't see anything about state restrictions. You might want to search for other Cloud 10 threads at wahm.com....sorry I couldn't be of more help. |

I currently work for Cloud10. I think there AWESOME! I have had no problems with them at all. Pay is right and on time! It did not cost me a penny to start working for them. They provided GREAT training. There very friendly and easy to contact. GOOD LUCK! If I were you, I would go with them. =)
