Hi Juno welcome to the boards there is a lot of useful info here and tons of reading being new here I would suggest reading and researching before you do any thing see what others are doing what works for one might not work for all. Unfortunately due to the recession the working world is changing and there are so many people who are out of jobs as well.

It's going to make it even tougher to find work I have my own home business because that is what works for me no more bosses for me I walked away from that 4 years ago and haven't looked back I love being home for my family but it takes a lot of hard work and determination too. Hope you find what your looking for

Many blessings!
~Linda

There is a ton of great info on here, check the recent posts and keep an eye on people's signatures.

I usually send people to my blog to check things out. A lot of people have told me that it's been really useful to them.

I have feedback and earnings posted for a lot of different types of sites including surveys, gpts, reviews, etc My goal for this month is to earn $300 and hopefully I'll be able to make it since I almost made $250 last month.

If you do surveys, the key is to be patient because you'll have to a decent number of them before you can cash out, but it's worth it imo. Same with GPTs it takes a while to add up but every penny counts! I'll send you a pm with some more info!

The other posters are right. There is lots of great information on this forum. There are a ton of job postings in this section and new ones posted every day.

Just keep applying for as many things as you can. And watch out for anything that tries to charge you an up front fee.

Best of luck and hope you find something very soon.

As everyone has mentioned, there's lots of information and helpful advice from this site and blogs that others have started, etc. I have a few different money ideas mentioned and am in progress adding more on mine. Just keep looking. Also, I don't have transcription listings on my blog (will need to add that) but with that you don't need medical knowledge. You need the good ear, grammar skill, etc. Focus Forward (general transcription online) is currently hiring and there was a post on it earlier. Good luck and take a look at people's sigs.

Welcome to the club. I remember when I first became a mom. I didn't have it as lucky as you do. I was 21 back in 2001. And now in the year of 2009, I just turn 30 on October 10 and have been working at home trying to make money ever since July 2008 starting with Ehow.com, a site for writers to try to earn income there. So far since October 2008 (I missed the Sept payment), I got money from them each month since it's always over $10.
You should check out some sites where they would email you free job leads where you can work at home. The important tips are that A. you enjoy doing what you do to earn income and B. You should never ever have to pay upfront to work at home with the exception of some home based business such as getting into Avon, Melaleuca, etc.

I don't just do writing online but also get paid to blog, discuss about different topics and other stuff. SO far, I was able to make over $200 last month which was great. I need to reach $500 for this month by doing more article writing on Demand Studios and stuff.
If you are good at writing, I suggest you check that out. If you want, can email me at lauriehomebusiness@gmail.com

Hey there,

You have definitely come to the right place to find work from home. There are many different opportunities that are listed in their seperate folders and you can also browse around on this folder as well.

What are you looking for?

Online job such as data entry jobs are very hard to find and when they do pop up, people grab them up quick. If you like to write, you can certainly make a decent living writing. Check out the "wahm who write" folder on here. There is tons of info on there.

Have you ever considered your own home business? I work my business 95% online. The only time I really pick up the phone is when someone has asked me to call them. I have the freedom to work my own hours and I no longer have to answer to anyone. It's pretty cool. With your own business, you build up a residual income (keep getting paid month after month, year after year for all business you have put on the books).

A business is not for everyone though. There is work that is required on your part to be successful at it, but it is definitely more rewarding than working for other people and making only peanuts every month.

Anyway, keep your head up high, you will find something that is a good fit for you. Sometimes, it takes a little bit, but if you stick around here, you should come up with many ideas.

Happy Prosperity!!

Wendy

Talking Hello!

Welcome!I am in sort of the same boat.I have been a stay at home mom for 14 years now and I too am looking for a job that allows me to stay home.My children are all in school but,two of them do not have buses to ride due to a failed levy.
I have tried and applied to a number of jobs and been turned down by most.
I am not wanting to go out and buy a bunch of extra stuff to work at home either.
Enough about me!
Welcome and may God Bless you in everything you do!
