How do you get points for swag bucks?

I just signed up with Swag Bucks. I really like iRazoo and thought that more Amazon gift cards couldn't hurt, but I can't figure out how you earn points with Swag Bucks. Can someone fill me in? Thanks!

You have a chance on every search to get them, it's random based on whoever searches closest to a certain time or something.

You can also earn them by looking for codes I suggest Widgetbox › Swidget 1.0 Widget for that though. It'll point you in the right direction.

My dh was really into swagbucks for awhile but he's not here to pick his brain lol. He is on his way home tho so I will ask him to either post or I will post what he tells me.

When you win with a search it seems to be more about timing than anything. Try searching first thing in the morning and before you go to bed. Something else that has worked well for me is watching the swagbucks fan page on facebook. People tend to post when they have won, and when there are alot of people posting, I try searching and usually win within the first 3 searches. Wait a few minutes in between searches, if you try one right after the other you won't win. It has to be natural searches. Also download the toolbar and get the widget, and watch for codes.

You can also earn sb's by shopping online through swagbucks shop and earn, contests like twitter trivia and twitter tuesday phrase that pays. And the best way is probably through referral's, you will get matching sb's for every sb that your referral's earn from searching up to 100 sb's.

Stick to it and it will pay off for you. I just got my first PayPal card that I purchased with my swagbucks. It you use it as your default search engine as you said, they will add up pretty fast.
