Thats great but the thing is, many work at home jobs that pays me, its always paypal preferred. You hardly see any of the other options on that site. It sucks but until then, many of us are stuck with paypal. I just do not link my bank account with my paypal, just to be safe. Or if you can, have a seperate paypal from the one you do business with and get money from. Another thing is, I hardly keep money sitting in my paypal, as soon as I get paid or get a certain amount that I have accumulated, I withdraw it with my paypal debit card, I hardly leave money in my paypal. If I do its a small amount.

Paypal has a security key option that I just noticed.

You can set it up to receive texts to your cell phone when you log in, then you enter the code on the site - seems like it would provide a pretty good level of increased safety for your account. (The mobile texts come at no charge from paypal - standard texting rates with your carrier apply though.)

What are everyone's thoughts on how beneficial that would be and keeping the evil doers out?

I have the PayPal debit if that is what you are talking about and they don't charge you just have to be PayPal verified (have bank account linked to PayPal account). You even get some money back when you use it i believe.

I think that might be a good increased security option. I have a passkey for a couple of my accounts on my iphone including my WoW account. You can't log in without it. I think that may help. I also like Razz do not have my bank account attached to my paypal, I use my debit card to remove money and I never leave much of anything in there. All except one of my jobs pays via paypal with no other options for receiving pay so I'm pretty well stuck with it.

I believe its' $5.00 one time fee.

I noticed their security options too after last time somebody posted here about her Paypal nightmare.

The paypal debit card is actually free, there are some fees associated with certain types of usage though. If you use it as a plain debit card there are no fees.

There's a security card that has a $5 fee though, it's similar to the texting service which is free.

Right. I am not talking about Paypal debit card. It's the security card. Thanks for clarifying this.
