Default Resume

Littlebird, do you think a resume can be two pages? i've always heard that one page is the limit that people prefer to read.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but video resumes are a new trend.

Personally, I think a video resume is a great idea and can be a great compliment to a paper resume. And even if the employer doesn't ask for a video resume, I believe that including a link to a video or maybe even a dvd/cd would make a prospective employee stand out.

Question Resume Titles on Job Search Sites

My questions are about resume titles on careerbuilder.com or monster.com. First, how can we create catchy resume titles so employers will take a look? Is that really necessary? Next, should we specify in the resume title that we are looking for telecommuting/WAH positions?

Default Don't by shy

The goal here is for you to stand out above the competition. You obviously don't want to come across as arrogant but it's important that you talk yourself up. Do whatever is necessary to be remembered in that stack of resumes.

As its well known fact is that first impression is the last impression, hence Resume play a key role in keeping your presence in front of the interviewer when you are not there. If the Resume will be well written then only it will catch the eyes of recruiters. So Resume should be written in proper way, in sequence, titles should be in bold letters and in bigger fonts a s compared to descriptions. Always have the updated and real information.

Default Volunteer Work

I think it's great to include volunteer work that you've done on your resume also.

Default Accomplishments

Express work experience in terms of accomplishments you made in previous positions. This may help employers to see how you can help them reach their goals.
