Question Is This A Scam or Not?

Hello,

Index-pg1 | Home Job Placement

I need your help.

According to the website above, the company is seeking work at home online auction agents to work on their computer. This company has been featured on CNN and other major news sources according to the website. I am interested in this job opportunity. I have plenty of clerical and internet experience. I can type 50 words per minute. I am worry that I could become a scam victim if I proceed through this.

Is this company 100% legit? Is this a home based business or job opportunity? Has anyone tried this company before? Any successes or failures to make money?

Here's the website Index-pg1 | Home Job Placement for you to read.

I keep checking back for your replies to help me to make my decision in applying for this job opportunity.

I appreciate your support.

Anthony

Smile Scam!

Hello Anthony,
I was also interested in this opportunity and signed up for it before realizing it was a scam. It costs $197 to get their training materials. You should never have to pay for a job to do a job. Luckily, I got a refund but it was still a hard lesson to learn. It's almost in a sense a business opportunity. On one of the sites this job was featured on it said, "Some people will make little to no money at all." Save your money and look around this forum for legit jobs. The ladies and gentlemen on this site are wonderful and give great job leads. Good luck!

princess0003,

I totally agree. Don't ever pay for a job. If there was truly a demand for this position, they wouldn't need to charge you.

I'm glad to hear you got a refund though. Nice job on that. I know getting your money back from places like this can be really tough.

Yes, I agree, never pay for "materials" for a work at home position. That is a good rule of thumb...

It's definitely not a job. Sites that look like that...all hyped up are sure signs of places to not get involved with. Stay far away from it.
