Default Sutherland Global Services

Does anyone have any recent experience they can share about this company. I have not been offered a position but they are scheduling interviews and I would like to make an informed decision if I am made an offer.

I found very bad review about them and wanted to find out the truth from my WAHM.com family.

Thanks,

Janice

I worked with them last year for a few months as a tech support rep. The training was not all that, it was basically rushed. Then half the time their software would not work, so I was unable to access some of the platforms. Numerous calls and ridiculously long wait time to get their tech support to help you.

Pay was on time though. I worked on the TurboTax contract. The supervisors were pretty nice, but sometimes you felt like there was no one there to help you, when you encountered an issue, regarding a customer. I honestly think if training was better and their tech support more efficient this company would be great. That is MY experience, I ended up leaving due to some health issues, I would have tried to stick with it though, because they do promote from what I was told. Good luck.

I interviewed with Sutherland once at one of their local offices, and I thought the interview was very unprofessional. I was led to believe it was going to be a 1 on 1 interview. After driving over an hour for the interview, I found out it was a group interview and there were about 20 others there. I chatted with several others and they also thought they were there for a 1 on 1 interview.

Then, someone came out about 15 mins later and told us the person doing the group interview was running about 30 to 45 mins late. Needless to say I was not very impressed, lol.

Smile Sutherland

I have worked for Sutherland for the past six months. My project currently ended, and I was placed on another one. I have had a great experience with them. Each project is different; some trainings are better than others, but I have always been treated respectfully, received help when I needed it, and paid in full. It is a great company. I have no complaints. Go for it.

Thank you everyone for your feedback. I have learned from my many years here that it is always good to try something for yourself rather than giving up a potential opportunity. Hopefully I can make it through the process to give it a chance. Who knows maybe they have improved.

Sutherland is a great company to work for. I have nothing bad to say about them but do agree the training was rushed. This is different I am sure with each project though.
Best of luck to you!

Can anyone say how much they pay? i applied for them a few weeks ago, but I can't remember what the pay rate was?

They do technical support? Is it hard work, or frustrating?
