Some cities have more than others. NYC and LA and SF will ahve loads..while smaller cities won't have as many. be sure to check out the google link.

And remember, a telecommuting job doesn't have to be with a company based where you live. That's the beauty of it. The company is in LA, you are in Little Rock. They don't care as long as you do your job. Good luck!

Washington DC has a lot listed daily, too. Atlanta (my town!)only has a few telecommute jobs listed, maybe five per day.

So when they say "job location is Los Angeles" (or wherever) you can still apply for it and do it even if you don't live in LA?? I always ignore any that have job locations like that in them thinking they want someone who lives right there.

Yeah, I think so. As long as it doesn't say that you have to live there. Some employers want their telecommuting employees to come into the office every so often. But, some allow you to work from home only.

I'm bummed...crazedlist.org is still up & running, but they can't allow you to search all locations anymore

Thanks for all the helpful info. I am not familiar with Craigslist but I wanted to start searching there for wahj and was wondering how careful do you have to be over there with jobs being SCAMS? I mean like is there any protection or verification that Craigslist does to checkout these job leads or are you just basically taking a chance when applying and sending your resume with all your personal info? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much

You're taking a chance, just like you arer with monster, careerbuilder, etc.

If they ask for a resume, leave out all your personal info (last name, address, phone number) and simply put your first name and email address.
