Default 3rd interview for West at Home American Express!!

I'm so excited and nervous, I just had my second interview (phone interview) with West At Home to work for American Express. They had me read a script and then asked me questions from the script I just read. I passed to the third interview and they said to be prepared to present a product that I am knowledgeable about in a cold calling format. So have any of you had to do this and if so, please give me some tips. I have no idea what I will present and how to do it. Have any of you had this job and if so how do you like it? Any advice will be very much appreciated.

I am surprise that West is doing American Express because I had posted a link previously from American Express that American Express was hiring people directly not through any company. Hmmm

jasjas,

I've had to do sample presentations for job interviews before. The best advice I can give you is prepare ahead of time.

Can you pick any product? If so, pick something you are already familiar with.

Maybe start by listing the reasons why someone would want to buy this product? Why it's better than similiar products. Stuff like that.

Then write your own script.

Good luck and I hope you get it!!!

Good luck with your interviews...Americian Express was hiring directly from their website and paying $16.00 per hour for Customer Service Representatives.

Just a FYI in case anyone else is interested.

Thanks :-)

I have postponed my 3rd interview until tomorrow, the 21st. Determined to make the grade lol.

Still on the hunt for any clues as to what I might be selling. Was advised it could be anything from a credit card to a pencil.........ugh! the anticipation lol
