If you have the Adblock Plus add-on, you can click on its icon and a box should come down with all the items currently running on the page you are on. Just identify the offending item and click on it and add it to the blocked filter.
Sorry, not a very techie explanation but I find it works! I have never seen the ad you are all talking about so I suspect it must be included in a block I already had. Hope this helps.
