hi guys...I am on the east coast (well sort of, PA)...and I will probably be signing up for stella and dot in the next week or so.....so I am not a stylist, but I have thought about this, so hopefully this will help Nuberianne.
I was with another home party plan and it failed, the products were all afforable, but the quality was no good (really, I was not pleased). I have seen stella and dot pieces and they are really nice.....trendy and cool. There are some expensive ones, but those will be conversation pieces, or like moya said pieces to book shows, don't expect to sell a boat load of them....but if someone says they like it, tell them they they could basically get it for free with their hostess credits.
I live in a rural area, and I have shown my family and friends the book and they all say the same thing, they loves the stuff, but they don't really wear jewerly...so my plan is to do some expo shows. I think people need to see this line in person, as it really is lovely. I think the other thing that would help at shows or expos....buy the magazines that S&D is featured in.....who doesn't love that.
