Default Adding Photo's to my Signature

Hi, I am having issues adding a photo to my signature. The photo is uploaded but not showing on my signature. Also, do I have to know a certain code to make my signature and/or font a different color? I've looked all over for information on how to do this, but maybe I'm just computer programming illiterate

Thank you.

Hi there,

I am testing things on the back end regarding your profile, so you may temporarily see your signature change/disappear/re-appear/etc. for a little while. I'll report back once I find the answers to your questions.

Hi there,

Go to User CP (at upper right) > Settings & Options > Edit Signature

Click on "Insert Signature Picture", which is next to your image.

This code should appear in the big text box:
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

If you want the image to link somewhere, select the SIGPIC code (all of it), and click the Insert Link icon in the menu (it looks like a little earth with chains) to specify the link.

Click the "Save Signature" button at bottom.

As for formatting your signature text (color, etc.), use BB Code, which is explained here:
https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/misc.php?do=bbcode

Hopefully this all helps!

I tried uploading the picture...it is there - however it does not show in my signature. The [SIGPIC] code is not showing up. I tried saving the picture to photobucket and uploading it from my computer...I have no idea why it's not working. I didn't even try to to link it.

Default Pictures on Sigs

Does anyone else have any problems with uploading a picture onto their signature?

Have you tested that the pictures works before adding the text and links I see now? I'd worry the font size is messing with the space allowed to fit the sigpic.

Also if you add code to the signature area, the code should look like this (with out the space added after beginning bracket and before ending bracket - did that so you could see the code and where the quotes are):
[ URL="http://www.yourURL.com" ] [ IMG ]http://your.imageURL.com/Logo.jpg[ /IMG ][ /URL ]

The first url is where you want the users to go when you click the image, the second url is the image location. Make sure the quotes are straight up and down quotes. Curly open and end quotes mess up code.

You could PM me code or leave the code in your siggy and I can go in the backend and take a look to see if there is a problem.

Thanks.
