Default Error after every post

Every post I make shows a white screen with an error afterwards, but the post goes through OK:

Quote:

I use Firefox with NoScript running, and currently have scripts disabled for Facebook.com, since I have no interest in it whatsoever. Do I really need to enable that permission before I can post here without the error? I don't like granting script permission unless it's a trusted source. With all the stories I've heard about people getting trojans from the social sites (digital "social diseases"? ) I really don't want to grant that permission. I will, however, if it will resolve the annoying error issue.

Any thoughts?

Hmmm...all these errors have seem to have this Facebook exception thing going on. I use FF and I'm not having issues like that, but I don't have scripts disabled for Facebook. I'm not going to tell you to enable them, though. Honestly, this is above my head as far as the technical side and I have reported to TPTB that there is a problem and the tech people are supposed to look into it. I really don't know what to tell you all to do in the meantime, though. Sorry! I'll let you know as soon as I hear something.

I'm really intriqued at what Facebook has to do with posting here...very strange! Hope TPTB can get to the bottom of it. FWIW I have scripts enabled and I'm not getting any errors.

Capmaster, I don't know what you've heard or where, but I've been on Facebook for 3 years now and I've never gotten any kind of trojan or malware from it (or from Twitter for that matter).

That's good news. Maybe they're a clean site now.

I'll go ahead and enable scripts. I have pretty good protection running full time (Avast antivirus, IOBit 360 malware scan, Malwarebytes scan and Sophos anti-rootkit) in addition to the normal Windows Defender and a hardware firewall. I should be safe enough.
