There are several methods of blocking annoying ads in Firefox. First, you want to turn on the built-in popup blocker. Go to Tools > Options > Content tab and you'll see a little box to put a check mark for popup blocking:
![]() The other way is to add Noscript. This is a small add-on to Forefox that by default doesn't let websites run scripts like flash ads, which are really annoying. You can see which extras you have installed by going to Tools > Add-ons > Extensions tab. Here's what mine looks like: ![]() You can add Noscript here by finding it on the list and clicking the "Add to Firefox" button along the right: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...d=5&sort=&lup= Once installed, Noscript allows you to turn on scripts for each individual web page you trust, and the rest remain off. I recommend you use both methods at the same time. Nothing unwanted gets through
