Default New consultant, questions about future lines

So, I love Scentsy (who doesn't!!) and have thought about becoming a consultant several times. I hear that February is a great time to get started with a few extra perks in the kit. What about the new lines coming out in March and May...if I start now, will I automatically be part of those too, or do you have to start separate businesses for those? I read somewhere that it would all be in the same back office, but I REALLY like the idea of doing chocolate, too! Any advice? I don't want to spread myself too thin to get started...thanks! Julie

Hi there! This month IS the perfect time to join. You get the enhanced kit (current & new testers & catalogs) & the awesome new catalog including Layers & Sincerely Scent goes live March 1st. Velata (the chocolate fondue) goes live in May. You will have to enroll into that separately, but current Scenty consultants at that time have the option of buying the kit at a big discount in April. It is a great compliment to the Scentsy party so I think promoting it will be easy along with Scentsy. You don't have to enroll in it though unless you want to. You can do one or the other or both. Feel free to PM me if you want to talk further. Have a great day!

My advice would be to concentrate on the main Scentsy business first. There is a learning curve, especially if you haven't done direct sales before. Once you feel comfortable with what you are doing, you can think about adding the Velata fondue at that point. Plus, Scentsy is also adding another brand in the summer.

I do agree that now is the time to sign up to get the extra items in your starter kit!

If you join this month you will enjoy the perks of catalogs and scents for both spring and winter...Velata will start in May...so you will have a couple of months for a learning curve...I think one of the perks for the Velata at a home show is that I can also sell the "snack". Good luck and hope to see you as a future consultant.
