I recycle everything that the garbage people will pick up from the recycle bin. Usually, that is glass, plastic #1 and #2, aluminum and paper.

I reuse a lot of and am VERY conservative when it comes to not wasting stuff.

I wish we lived where they supported recycling. We do cardboard because that's all that is available. But we have managed to cut about 90% of our paper product usage in the home. I guess that might count for something...

Default We Started About a Year Ago

We started taking plastic bottles to the recycling center at a large farmer's market about a year ago. The kids love it. They recycle a lot of items such as aluminum cans, metal cans, magazines, newspapers, cardboard boxes and more. The more we go, the more the children start noticing other items that can be recycled so we've added several other items each time we go. It makes me less likely to throw things away also.
Sincerely,
Gayle

I usually fill two blue tubs a week. Also I donate clothing and try and use whatever I can over again.

I recycle more now that my city has a program where you don't have to separate anything. So I recylce anything and everything paper, plastic, glass, you name it.
