The Great Divorce by CS Lewis... its the one that really sticks with me and makes me think about things differently. I'm a huge CS Lewis fan!

I love all of the classics - books by Charles Dickens, Charlotte Bronte, Jane Austen, Emily Bronte, etc. (I also love Masterpiece Theater when they show the films for all of these great books. They haven't shown them for a while but the current show on Masterpiece Theater "Downton Abbey" is really good). As for recent books, I love The Twilight Saga.

Atrlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand is my favorite book. She was as much a visionary as George Orwell.

"The Power of Your Subconscious Mind" is my favorite book of all times. I refer to it as my bible.

It might sound silly but my favorite book series is Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. My previous favorites were the Dark Elf Trilogy by RA Salvatore.

Default Book I never thought I'd Read

A book I never thought I'd read because of the title is Men Are from Mars Women Are from Venus. A friend recommended it and the only reason I got it was because I saw it at a thrift store. However, once I started reading it, I could not put it down. I refer to it often and it has helped me at times to understand what a man might be thinking.
Sincerely,
Gayle

The Holy Bible. I find that no matter the challenge in life, I always find the answer; and no matter how many times I read it, I learn something new.
