Oh Deb... I sooooooooooo can appreciate that!

When I lived in MN, we had terrific thunderstorms at night. I had a log house there... and I loved the sound of rain on that rooftop. Man, I miss that.

Here in Colorado, night rains are downright RARE. Like ... really.... I only remember one in the 10+ years I've lived here. We get these torrential rains in the afternoon - but never a "shebang" kind of storm at night.

We used to have three really cute little guinea pigs. Every time we would open the crisper drawer in the fridge or get out the cutting board, they knew the sounds and would squeak for some cut up veggies.

I had a guinea pig when I was 7. A white one names Snowball. Squeak squeak...
