Default Visionboard

Visionboards are a fun way to set goals! I have one that is divided into 3 sections: family, personal, and work. Under family, I have a picture of Disney World because I would love to take the family to Disney World, stay a week, and not have to worry about a budget! Under personal, I have a picture of me at my ideal weight (of course I need to lose 20 lbs! who doesn't!) and pavered walkway. For work, I have mostly one words and pictures of the things I can earn in our incentive programs.

If you don't have a vision board, you definitely need to make one!! It truly works!! A little over a year ago, I had the new front load washer and dryer on my vision board and I am excited to say I was able to accomplish that goal!!

Happy dreaming!

Hi aloemom
It's amazing how once you start thinking of something, then more ideas grow ... LOA

Hi Wendy
It's wonderful to pass that info on and two years is a great time to keep that focus.

Hi Bootiican
I agree, the sooner people realise the potential of having a vision board, the soon all their dreams will start coming true.

I just remembered something that happened to me years ago. You have reminded me with your posts.

I found a picture of the house I wanted. It was the outside of the house. Well I waited and waited, nothing happened, obviously I didn't really believe that I deserved it. In the meantime my sister had moved to Canada a few years before and I had not been to her house. Then one day the opportunity arrived when I could afford to go and what do you think ...

Yes, she was living in 'my' house. It was exactly as I had envisaged it! But, I love my sister and therefore was pleased for her.

Strange though ...

AnneMarie

My husband and I made a vision board in 2007. Many of the things from the board have happened. The best thing on our board was a picture that my husband drew of us with a lil' girl. Happily, we found out just months later that we were pregnant and we welcomed our beautiful daughter in 2008.

Sounds like a great tool to keep you motivated. Been meaning to do one myself. Perhaps a picture of a "lighter" me on the refrigerator!!

You know, I gotta make one of these. This should help with me go where I wanna go in life. As soon as the snow clears up I'm gonna get my supplies.

I haave always used my refrigerator as our "Dream board". I let my kids put their personal dreams and desires on the fridge too. That way the whole family gets to participate. When we achieve one of them, we just take it down and replace it with a new dream/goal.

I do! Mine is on the wall above my desk. It has a picture of my dream house on it. It has several screenshots of affiliate sales and Adsense income (because those will be increasing ;p) It has Bible verses that inspire me and various quotes that inspire me.

There's a pic of me and my hubby to show that I'm devoted to a good marriage, and a pic of me with the kiddos. There's also a little pic of a tea set which represents my relationship with my daughter - my mom and I have a bit of a strained relationship and it's my desire that my own daughter and I will have a much better relationship.

There's a picture of a laundry room with four washers (lol) and some "from behind" shots of ladies with long, gorgeous hair (mine is long but the health needs to be better).

So it's really a combination of the visions that I have for all aspects of my life - not just business. But business is up there, too
