Taking time for yourself is something you MUST do every day Go out for a walk for 30 minutes. Think about your projects and enjoy the nature. Believe it or not, I get a lot of ideas for new projects when I am outside. I guess that fresh air does the trick

I don't get much "me" time, as my toddler pretty much wants me with her all the time. She's finally started going to bed without any help (or screaming), so if I get any time to myself, it's in the evening. Though usually I'm catching up on chores... DH helps where he can, since he works from home, but since he is the primary breadwinner I feel bad taking him away from work just to help me take out garbage or pick up toys.

Usually when I have a minute I'll use it to check email, or have a cup of chamomile tea, or crochet, or read. Those things usually re-energize me. For a little while, anyway.

The GYM! I go everyday M-F for at least an hour. The kids love the day care there and look forward to going. It's my time and I'd be lost without it. When I get home I have so much more energy and feel great.

Yes. Mornings are "my time". I wake up earlier than my wife and I can usually pursue little interests here and there without being distracted.

Finding some ME time is on my goal list for 2010. It's not something I get a lot of when I'm caring for a family of 5. Some one always needs me to do something - and I don't even have my own private space with in the house where I can just go be alone (unless you count the bathroom and with only one of those in the house, I don't get to stay in there too long either).

Kim I think said it best when she mentioned Grocery shopping alone being Me time. I love when I get to go to the grocery store alone! It doesn't happen often, but I shop so much better by myself and its really relaxing.
