We met online. I came across his myspace page and wrote him to tell him what an ass I thought he was from the info provided on his page. I never expected a reply but he did and we talked via email for a week then met. I was hooked after that.

Well, I met him through a friend I worked with at the time. He came in because his roomate (another friend and coworker) locked his keys in his truck and needed my dh to come bring his spare set. He did and saw me. I flirted a little. He later went home and asked his other roomate (and my other coworker) about me. My friend told me of this convo and urged me to give him my number so I did. And that, as they say, is history.

We met in Jr. High, but didn't get together until his senior year, my junior. He was Capt of football, I was Capt of volleyball. Both super at track and we got together during track season before he graduated. Yep, high school sweethearts from 20 years back. lol

We met in a singles chat room on IRC in 1997. He lived in Rhode Island and ended up moving to Dallas for me. We have been married 11 years and have two beautiful children.

I met mine while cashiering at Burger King! It was the year right after high school, my first job, had been there a year.

Reggie came in with his friend and came up to order. His FRIEND wanted to date me but I took one look at his friend and said 'no thanks, not my type.' Reggie then said 'why don't you give me your number then' And I was so turned off by that! I was like NO! Are you kidding me?!? So they got their food, ate inside and left.

Fast forward 3 mths I was working and Reggie ordered food at the drive thru. When he came to the second window, I noticed him right away (but it was b/c he was blasting his music) and my friend who gave him the order said 'oh wow he's cute!' Next thing I knew he drove around, parked and came in. He had his little kangol hat on and his hip hop attire (a big turn off!) and he asked me if I remembered him. I did but I told him NO. He said 'Remember when...' and helped me 'recall' the other time. I was like okay....and he asked me for my number again, this time I went ahead and gave it to him b/c my friend thought he was cute! I didn't like him at first b/c I thought he was cheap and illiterate (I have no clue why I thought that) he talked with that hip hop slang, (THAT'S probably why lol), he was all into his car, he wrote how he talked...but he started to grow on me over time.

After that he started showing up at my job to say hello, offered to take me home, took me different places like Canada and all these other cool places...and one time (I found out AFTER we married) he followed me when I was with my friends w/o me knowing b/c he wanted to see how I acted outside of work. We started hanging out more as friends first..and he was very polite with my friends. He introduced me to his friends....and after a while my parents LOVED him We dated for 3 years before we got married.

Will be married 11yrs March 27th and have 3 children! Total of 14yrs together. ;o) He stopped all that hip hop stuff shortly after we started dating....and he actually writes a LOT better than me now. lol

I met my husband when I was 14. We bowled in a junior bowling league together. I was dating his best friend, and when he broke up with me. Jason took me out for pizza to cheer me up. We dated all through high school before breaking up as we moved onto college. Two years later, he happened to stop by my house to drop something off for my dad (they had talked the entire time we were not together) and the rest they say is history. We pretty much just picked up where we left off. We have been married now for almost three years.

We met in Spanish class my freshman year at college. His version - getting ready to walk out and drop the class but then " she walked in " and he decided to stay and offer me the seat next to him. 3 kids, 2 dogs and 19 years later = today

Wink Love this post!

I met my husband on plentlyoffish.com We met March of last year, we hit it off immediately! Found out we were having a baby girl in May. Got married in November and had my precious little girl in December. I would never have met him without that site, he lived 3 and a half hours from me, lol. I definitely found my soul mate. Everything about him says he was made for me.

I met my husband at a happy hour in Houston that our young adults group at church (Catholic) was having with other church young adult groups. I was trying to get out of a date set for the next night with someone I meet at a party and found out he was divorced, something I don't mess with. Divorce is out. I wasn't even thinking of anyone else. Well, my husband showed up at this happy hour (Dacquiri Factory, Houston, TX) and we started talking. I really liked him and knew I wanted to go out again with him. We went out for a few months and then broke up for a couple of weeks (it was such torture for me and that is when I realized that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him) got back together and the rest is history as everyone on this forum is saying. Have been married now for 12 years and have 2 little girls, one 10 and the other 4.
