I was thinking about investing too, but more along the lines of investing in a savings plan of some sort. I had thought about businesses, but I am not read up on anything like that.

Default Thank you for making me think about this!!!

I hope that I would help as many charities as also several individuals who are in need, make sure that my household is debt free and all financial documents are in order, take a few nice trips, buy a few nice things, eat a few nice places, and find some good places to help some of the earnings continue to grow for the future.
Sincerely,
Gayle

First of all it depends on the amount of money that one can win in the lottery. If the amount won goes in millions then you have lot to spent. For a person the home comes first then comes car. The are various types and varieties of cars that are available in the market in various price range depending on the style, quality, features and the brand name.

I would put into retirement fund and investment funds. I would travel around the world and also donate some for critical cause. I would just enjoy and help out people that I care for and that are in need.

Depends how much it is obviously, but first I'd pay off debt, then buy a new vehicle, put money away for kids education/retirement, start a travel fund and rest would go to charity.

Default If I won the Lottery

If I won the Lottery, I would buy a new house, hire someone to come in and pack......and never set foot in this old house again. Buy a car and a camper van........set my kids up in business...........well lets see maybe one million would n't be enough so probably have to invest it some way.

I would go out and help the homeless, one by one, person to person.

If I won the lottery I think I would first book a plane for the family and go to Disneyland and think of all the possibilities. There is so many things one can do with such a winning.

I would buy a house that is comfortable enough for my family. Nothing too fancy that will take a lot of money to maintain. I would learn more about investing so that I could invest some. I would set aside college funds for my kids. I would donate to some of the organizations in my city that really help the less fortunate. I would also like to start some type of business of my own.

If I won the lottery I'd:
  • Pay tithes
  • Complete construction on our house
  • Buy brand new vehicles for my husband & I
  • Open a ministry/home for unwed teens
  • Buy land/build homesteads for homeless & teach them how to be self sufficient
  • Spend some money on my children
  • Invest in my children's futures
  • Buy gold & silver
