I smoke but I started when I was about 22 or so. I hate to say it but I smoke a pack a day.

I fall asleep around 1am, and eyes fly open at 6:30am or so.

Funny about the lightbulb-just had dh replace one last night for me.

My comfort food has always been Lays Chips, and now they have so many different kinds Woohoo

I can't sleep without the TV on. Used to be the radio as a kid (no tv on all night aloud)...my husband had to adjust to this : ) If not I will lie there and thinnk and think and think and never get to sleep. I need the distraction.

None of the options fit me... Light bulbs do go out, but mine do not explode.

Absolutely all of the above. How odd - what do you think is the correlation?

Odd because none of these questions are atypical (ie as in, would you describe yourself as 'sensitive', in which who would not?). I'll add that I have to sleep with the TV on, and I never get a full nights sleep. I wake several times through the night, generally always go back to sleep, but just think its weird that other people hit the pillow and then are down until the next morning!

Regarding the light bulbs - electrical things in general tend to fritz in my presence. This is a well known phenomenon to people that love me despite it. It long has since worn off its novelty - where it once was mildly fascinating, I now feel guilty. This month finds me at my Mother-in-laws staying a spell and so far their dining room light (where we eat) has shorted out as well as the lamp by my bed.

If it's a coincidence, I need to play more lottery!

I don't smoke, do love salty foods (yes, i know that is not healthy),
i love to have music on, not to drown out any spirits, just because i love music.

But, most of all, i only sleep 4-5 hours a night.

Thanks for the information. I found it very interesting.

Yes, next poll do include all of the above

Default Sweet and Salty Foods

The day after I read this poll, (I did identify with a few of the points), such as not much
sleep and liking sweet and salty foods, someone came by to visit me
and gave me a huge box of Sweet and Salty Trail Mix Bars.

What a coincidence!

(First of all: I don't do professional readings, though I have been thinking about it recently. I've read tarot cards since I was thirteen, just for fun, and have always enjoyed it. Supposedly I'm good at it.)

As to the older poll on this page:

Former smoker. At one point I smoked nearly two packs a day.

I try to sleep eight hours but am constantly up and down throughout the night. I always have been this way, even as a little girl. I probably sleep around four and a half hours nightly, after all the up and down time is subtracted.

Light bulbs exploding. It happens to me but hasn't for some time. I've noticed that the more stress I'm under the more it happens. (Take that back-it happened two days' ago. I forgot about it. I'd been arguing about my attempt to get my unemployment approved, turned on a light over the kitchen sink and heard a "popping" sound. It was the light bulb.) Worse than that is a watch. I can't wear them at all, at least I can't have them touch my skin. I break out in a rash in the area that touches my skin and the battery dies shortly after. It really stinks.

Salty vs sweet. It depends on my mood. Sometimes I crave them together. And I am an allergy sufferer.

And I constantly need background noise.
